Normal to feel short of breath w/ BH/contractions?

This happens to me everyone, they don't hurt ..I just always feel like I'm winded and am short of breath.

Not sure if it's normal but has happened to me. Mine are starting to get painful though so I find myself deep breathing through them. I've had breathing issues on & off from about 8weeks and keep gwtting told there's nothing to worry about.
