Bleeding after internal ultrasound.

Catelyn

Hi all!

I had an internal ultrasound today, my doctor believes I may have PCOS, fingers crossed that's not the case.

I'm not sure if I'm currently pregnant, I was planning on testing tomorrow but I may end up doing it later tonight. Although I figure if I was, she would have picked that up and told me?

Anyway! The lady that did my ultrasound pushed pretty hard against my cervix and what not, but I figure that's pretty normal to get an accurate reading? I've just gone to the bathroom now (5 hours after ultrasound) and I'm bleeding pretty heavy. I am due for my period in about five days, but I've never been this early (usually late). Is there any chance that an internal ultrasound can bring on your period? Or could it be something else?

I'm only young (17) so this is the first ultrasound I've ever needed to have done, so obviously I'm not quite sure what to expect.

Thanks!
