Anybody else get periods like this? 😒

That used to be my normal! After I switched to a vegetarian diet my periods started regulating a bit though to the point where they last 4-7 days and I get them every 4-6 weeks or so — not perfect or anything but I used to get my periods maybe 3-4 times a year at best! When I eat right and exercise I get them closer to the 4/5 weeks, but sometimes I fall off, and my cycles respond to it. I remember having a period that lasted a full 3 months...I ended up having to get a blood transfusion with hospital stay and all. It was just absurd. I hope you’re able to reduce the lengths of your periods! It’s just a bit easier to live a life where you don’t bleed for so long.

Lately this is what my periods have been looking like! I did actually just get two relatively close together, mid March and late April. Dr. prescribed me Metformin, started it last Sunday. Says to come back once I’ve finished all my tests and we will go from there.

Story of my life. My last one was January 28th to March 10th. Not one day did it go away; but I've had cycles like this my while life. Then I won't have one for months. I just started again last week so hopefully this one won't be like the last :/
