So did anyone use clomid unmonitored or were you monitored the whole time? Thanks

I am not a big fan of unmonitored Clomid cycles. It is a pretty potent drug - and can result in multiples, cysts and other complications. Of course, your doctor knows best - but if it were me, I would ask for at least some monitoring.

2nd cycle unmonitored. Went in for CD21 bloodwork. Get results Monday.

I would say it's best to be monitored. My doc likes to see me around day 12 but I usually go at day 14 bc I don't ovulate until a few days after that!

I was unmonitored..he just have it to me nd said call when I get a bfp...

I would be very careful. First month got me I was on 50mg and was scanned and found I had been over stimulated. Too many follicles and a high risk of multiples. (Twins would be lovely but not 7 potentially in my case)  I'm now on second month and on 25mg and got 3 eggs this time round phew!! I would definately be monitored as you don't want to put your health at risk! It was also good for me to be able to speak to someone as I had really bad side affects and on such a low dose too! I am on cycle 2 on 100mg clomid days 5-9 and I go in for an ultrasound on CD15 and I normally ovulate on CD17. I think it's totally up to why they put you in clomid as to how much monitoring your need. Good luck.

When to take your clomid is determined by your OB or doctor who prescribed it. I have a 31 day cycle and my OB has me taking mine on days 5-9. But I know some who take it on 2-6. Or some people later. It all depends on your cycle and why u r taking it.
