Can being overheated hurt your unborn child? I'm 18 weeks and drive a truck for a living. My ac is broken so I have to deal w the heat alllllllll daaayyyy long. It's irritating for me but more worrying because this is my first pregnancy and idk how or if it would affect my child or not. Does anyone know?

Yes it’s not healthy to have a higher body temp than normal while pregnant. This is why you can’t tan or go in hot tubs.

They have portable fans that you can plug into the cigarette plug. You can use that for the meantime. Also, keep hydrated, dress comfortably and use the cooling towel to put around you. Hope that helps.

Heck we didn’t have working AC in our house until now and my fiancé was so against me staying here while it’s been so hot. But I like being in the comfort of my own home
