what vacuum do you have?

hey guys just wondering if anyone has an affordable compact vacuum they recommend?  preferably one that isn't very noisy (i have a baby..) and great at picking up dust on ceiling fans and hair off couches. I have a small apartment so the smaller and or lighter weight the better it will also cut down my sweeping time so I can tend to baby.  Thanks in advance 🤗🙃

They’re pricey but dysons are truly the best. I’ve had mine for a decade without any issues. It was about $450 but if you’re buying cheap and having to replace it every other year you’ll end up spending that anyway.

I have the shark lift away model. I love it. It’s small, easy to maneuver, lightweight, easy to use, comes with attachments, etc... It is an upright vacuum but you can lift the canister off of the base to walk around with it like for doing ceiling fans (or stairs) for instance.

1000000000% this one!!! Absolutely amazing. Like I prefer it over the sharks and dyson. It has amazing reviews, automatically shifts from carpet to hardwood. It has little lights on the front so it makes it easier to see if your about to suck up something small that you shouldn’t be. It detaches, and is great for cleaning ceilings. It’s just amazing

Definitely go with the Shark Rocket Duo. It’s a little pricey but it’s totally worth it with how great this thing cleans and it’s lightweight, compact, it even comes with an optional wall mount! We live in a tiny one bedroom apartment and ours stores away in the closet. It takes up as much room as a pair of shoes.

I have two, one robot vacuum (best investment ever) and I have a pretty standard Miele that I use for corners, the sofa, basically everything above floor level. I have the robot set on a timer, and the baby sleeps right through it.

We have a robot vacuum and it is amazing! We have it on a timer to vacuum the whole house for two hours in the morning (you can program it to do both morning and evening if you like) and I just go and mop later after it’s done its job. We have a baby and a big dog that loves to track crap and dirt into the house so it is so nice to only have to worry about mopping the floors!

I invested in a Riccar and it’s saved me so much money in the long run. I used to buy 100-200 dollar dysons or sharks, which would slow down a ton within a few years. The Riccar was around 500 but I’ve had it for about 8 years and vacuum stores service it once a year (costs 25-40) to get it completely cleaned out.
