How often do you call in sick to work?

Ive phoned in sick once in 19 years of employment and that was because i got taken into hospital during the night with liver failure.

Only when it’s an extreme thing like a flat tire, car accident, or not feeling well. I’ve been at my job 10 years and it’s only like 5 times that I can think of.

I get 40 hours of sick time a year. I also accumulate vacation time but that has to be scheduled and approved sick time doesn’t

My supervisor and coworkers have sent me home when I wasn't feeling well because they say they don't want germs spreading and they have kids. I've taken the hint and just work from home if I'm sick. Probably once every 2 - 3 months.
