Do their opinions matter?

Find out through early DNA testing we are having a baby girl. I’ve known for a while I wanted to name my baby girl *Ellie*. My wife loves it. I really want to use flowers for middle names. Although I love *Rose* it’s so common. So I decided to use *Magnolia*. I think it flows so beautifully *Ellie Magnolia* our last name begins with a D. My wife was unsure at first but once it sank in she loved it. But over the weekend as we were sharing our name possibilities, everyone made faces at the middle name. My sister think it’s an “old lady name” which is dumb because it’s a flower. And others just think it’s weird. Maybe I just need reassurance... what do you think? (If anyone’s wondering magnolias are one of my favorite flowers, specifically the pink and white ones)
