Less midwife appointments with 3rd baby?

Anyone found this?
I am currently 27w today and not seeing my midwife till next week. 
The last time I saw her I was 16w, so a 12w gap in between.
I’m assuming this is normal?
She said to me as it’s my 3rd baby I’d have less appointments as I’ve done it all before and pretty much ‘know what I’m doing.’
Please tell me I’m not the only one who is going insane with the lack of professional contact and baby updates. 🙌🏻

I'm on my second pregnancy. I met my midwife at 16 weeks and I don't see her again until I am 29 weeks.... She told me that if they don't have any worries about you or baby they don't see you much

with my first pregnancy i cant remember the first part but all i know is towards end i was having weekly visits from about 30 weeks always different midwives from half way through i never saw my midwife until she came over to do baby heal prick ...  second pregnancy i was seen by doc as a booking appt then saw midwife at 10 weeks i think it was and put under care of consultant and midwife but first appt was with consultant at 16 weeks then next at 24 weeks then midwife at 26 weeks and consultant at 30 weeks midwife at 33 weeks consultant 36 weeks and booked in for induction at this point just incase and had midwife appt at 39 weeks and had baby at 40+3 so i didnt have many from what it was like with first i did question it but was told its ok even though i was high risk but yet my friend who was low risk and midwife only was having appts every 2 weeks from 30 weeks

That's just crazy. This is my first pregnancy and I had an appointment with my midwife at 12 weeks and my next one is at 28 weeks. Wtf. 16 weeks with no other appointment just a scan at 20 weeks. NHS is the best, I don't know after what kind of standards. Thanks God I have no complications.

I think there’s a flow chart in your green notes that tells you when to expect appointments to happen.

i think it depends on how previous prgnancies went. im 33 weeks with my 3rd and have had tons of appointments. not too many to begin with but after 24 weeks have been every fortnight x

It’s even worse with your fourth! I think it’s a 12 week gap untill 28 weeks then it’s every 4 weeks then every 2 from 36 weeks. X
