Is it really possible to control whether you get pregnant with a boy or girl? Has anyone tried any of the methods and actually had success? (got your gender of choice)? any methods you'd recommend over others?

No. There's no truth to the theories about speed and longevity of x and y sperm. It doesn't matter what you eat or how you time sex. You truly get what you get.

I don't think so. By the standards I've seen we should have had a boy in my first pregnancy and it was a girl and then the opposite for this one 🤷

It’s maybe possible to sway your chances a bit, but aside from using a lab, no, there’s no guarantee. We didn’t sway for a girl, but once I found out that I got pregnant almost a full week after sex, I was almost positive it was a girl. The reason is that male sperm swim fast but don’t survive as long. So theoretically, since I got pregnant so long after sex, I was like ok, I bet it was a female sperm haha. If you’re wondering how I knew when I actually got preg, it’s because there was literally only 1 day we had sex that month that could have gotten me pregnant. The doctor said “no way, you’re not that far along, are there any other possible dates?” So the only explanation is that I got pregnant a week afterwards lol. There are methods that say they will help you sway, and i do believe to an extent they can work.
