going back to school?

I am 21. I dropped out of college after a year and a half due to financial reasons. I've recently have been thinking of going back but I need some outside motivation and encouragement. do y'all have any success stories of going back to school after x-amount of time?

I dropped out of college when I was 20.  Was going to go back when I was 23, but found out I was pregnant with twins.  I ended up going back at age 31, with three kids.  I worked 20-40 hours the entire time I was in school, got divorced, and continues to raise my girls as I took 9-12 credits a semester.  My second to last semester, I found out I was pregnant.  I Almost took a semester off, but my fiancé encouraged me to stay in.  After 6 consecutive smsters, I graduate last week at 33 years old, 7 1/2 mo pregnant with my 4th baby.  I did it.  It was hard work, but I pulled through.  If I can do it with my crazy life, anyone can!

I didn't start college until I was 24 and my employer offered to reimburse tuition for good grades. I had to work full time while going to school so it took longer. Then I was laid off and was given some tuition assistance in my severance package. College definitely helped make me more employable. Just be sure you get a marketable degree. There isn't much demand for archeologists. But almost anything in IT can land you a decent job. So if your major has a good outlook in the job market go for it.
