For those of you that did blood test in first trimester- did you test for trisomy 21 (Down’s syndrome), trisomy 18, trisomy 13 as well as genetic carrier testing?

We did both even though there are no conditions in either of our families to be concerned about but when the option was there I thought it was odd not to test for the carrier genes too. Thankfully all came back clear.

did both for first pregnancy, and the 13, 18, 21 2nd. my husband and I have no family history.

At I think my 10 or 12 week ultrasound they were looking at the fluid behind babies neck I guess if there's more than 3cm fluid your a greater risk of your baby having Down Syndome. They took my blood as well idk exactly what they tested but everything came back negative
