So today I had a very small amount of brown spotting. I am 5 weeks and 5 days with my first. My stomach hit the floor and I started crying and researching online.

I called my Dr office and left a message with the nurses then decided to go to immediate care, same building my Dr office is located. She was off today and they said I could to to ER to get checked out. My mom had called me in the mean time and said it sounds like old blood everything and everything is ok. Still freaking out I went to ER.

3.5 hrs and blood draws and 2 ultrasounds later the Dr said my hormones are at 4,000 and they could see the yolk sac on the ultrasound and everything looks good and to follow up with my Dr with my scheduled appointment.

Looking back now I think I overreacted just a little bit. I apologized to my hubby and he said sweetie, it's ok it's normal.

I still feel a bit silly... but relieved.
