The problem I with religion

What bothers me so much about religion is the hypocrisy. Let me explain.

One of the Ten Commandments states “thou shalt not kill”. Yet the majority of religious people directly or indirectly kill everyday by choosing to kill and eat animals.

I know what the argument will be. I know it doesn’t specify who you shall not kill and if it applies to animals or just other human beings, and its about how you interpret it.

Why is it that people never want to worship things that GOD HIMSELF created?

For example, if i were to burn the bible, it would be totally outrageous and horrifying.

But MAN created the bible IN THE NAME OF GOD.

Why is no one offended by if I destroy something that god created? God created the planet, animals etc. We kill the planet and animals everyday. If you kill something that is god’s creation, then you are murdering god. god lives inside everyone doesn’t he?

I LOVE god, what I loathe is how people spread hatred in his name.

I am not trying to trigger anyone honestly. I just think people need to think about things from a different perspective.
