WHOLE MILK!!!!

So, my doctor and my dietician disagree- dietician recommends low fat yogurt, make oatmeal with water instead of my usual 2%milk...blah blah blah. But my doc said NO! For dairy, use high fat! High fat DAIRY (in new research) has some protective factors against diabetes. So my doc said to start using whole milk and plain regular fat yogurt and cheese and such. So....to address my recent constipation I tried something out today- a Starbucks mocha (made with only one pump of chocolate) made with whole milk with my eggs and bacon. My 1hr post breakfast blood sugar was 82!!!!!!!! What!??!! Going to keep experimenting, but look into it when you are doing dairy!!!! Hurray for the little things!!!!!
