Also I’ve been feeling pretty low lately when I should be happy. My now fiancé and I have been together for 10 years in September. We are high school sweet hearts. Now we got engaged last July and a month later his dad proposed to his now fiancé. I’m totally happy for the to of them but they decided to get married four months before us. They want to be included in all aspects of our wedding but I’m not included in theirs. She went wedding dress shopping and did not think to include me. I figured since we were both getting married it would be fun to share these experiences together. My feelings were hurt and felt I wouldn’t be happy and enjoy the happiest day of my life having her there while I look for my dress. Now everyone’s saying I’m in the wrong for not including her. Am I in the wrong?
