So this weekend there was a significant apartment fire in my community. Many people lost their homes and all of their belongings. One particular person stuck out to me, she's a young mom of almost a 2 year old boy. My husband has been searching for a bed for her, and we have a dresser to give away. But more importantly I wanted to make sure her son is being provided for, so I went ahead and bought 3 outfits, a case of diapers, and some wipes. I'm so proud of myself because as I get older and wiser I realize how important it is to help each other out when in need. 7 years ago I never would have cared! Maybe some day when she's in a better position, she can pass on help to someone else in need. We all need to practice this a little more!
