My boyfriend is so unaffectionate. He gets home from work sits on his phone or PlayStation whilst I sit in our bedroom and then comes to bed when he feels like it and straight to sleep. The only time i ever get any attention from him is in front of my family, he likes to make out he’s really loving then. Should I expect more from him? I’m 35 weeks pregnant with his baby and feel so undervalued. We don’t even have sex or anything anymore it’s just pure awkwardness half the time...😔
Update: I have spoken to him about this on several occasions. And nothing happens...

Men aren’t animals. They know what they want, and take it when they want it, women just think their dumb just because they don’t speak up often. 
If he wanted to be with you and spend time with you and value you. He would. End of story. 
Why do some men do it and others don’t? It’s because they WANT TO. 
He’s still you boyfriend for a reason and a baby won’t change that. He’s just finally showing you his true colors. 
Either talk with him or leave, but you’re not his mother, you can’t MAKE him love and respect you as a woman and the mother to his child. Make a decision now because it gets harder after the baby comes.

Why are you waiting for him to give his attention instead of asking for it? It's so easy (for anyone) to get caught in a rut of work/veg/sleep and ignore what's happening around us. Instead of sitting alone, try interacting with him. I regularly ask my fiance about what's going on when he's gaming, not because I expect to understand or have a great interest but because it's something he likes to talk about. Then we are having a conversation, which can turn any of a hundred directions. I've also noticed that when I started putting in some effort, he did too. Now he regularly asks me about books I'm reading, shows I'm watching and just general life stuff. Communication is a 2-way street but somebody has to make the first move.

Ugh sounds like my husband. He’s a PS4 freak. He’s addicted. He gets home and pushes ON before anything. Like really?? BUT he works 15 hours a day and provides the money. It’s his way to relax. Like my way to relax is curling in bed and watching TV. If I want some he will come get me and vice versa. Also he will get things done around the house and if we need to go places as a family we will. But believe me he’s addicted to his PlayStation (I hate Call Of Duty!)
