Swollen Lips when I wake up

Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone experiences this.

Quite often I wake up with swollen lips, sometimes it’s not so bad but I can tell that they are swollen and it always goes down after an hour or so of me waking up.

The other day I got swollen lips so bad it looks like I had a botched lip filler job done.

Which has got me wondering what’s actually causing it.

I do get cold sores but it’s definitely not that, I can tell the difference. It’s not just a certain spot but my whole mouth.

I also don’t think it’s an allergic reaction as I’m 22 and have never previously been allergic to something but Idk.

I haven’t been to the doctors as it’s not that serious I’m just curious!!!

I’m also very iron deficient so not sure if it has something to do with that and lack of oxygen in my blood stream caused by iron deficiency.
