We ended up telling them in June. They haven’t seen us since. Isn’t that strange?

With my first, we gave them a newborn onesie that said “can’t wait to meet you Grandma and Grandpa” with the due date. 
We thought it would be a cute thing for them to have as a memento.
A few months afterwards my MIL sent the onesie back to us....? I never understood why - did she expect us to have our daughter wear it? 
This time around I am not putting any thought into it and just going to let my husband tell his mom when he feels like it.

Had them over one night and my husband told them.

We had this cute idea to tell his mom but she has excuse after excuse about why she couldn’t see us, which would have been part of it, so he just called and told her. We told my mom and grandma in a way cute way and now I think she is jealous. Too bad.
