"Be strong, little one" **LONG POST**

Lauren

This pregnancy has started out any way but smoothly. Last Saturday, I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hemmorage, which is a blood clot in between the placenta and the uterus. We were told there was a chance that the clot would dissolve and everything would be okay, but we were also told that there was a chance that it could increase in size and separate the uterus from the placenta and result in termination of pregnancy. While we were floored, we remain hopeful. After another visit to the ER Wednesday night, we were told the same thing, but they were a bit more optimistic. I was told that I had a true bicornuate uterus, which is two separate chambers within the same uterus, and that the baby was on the left side, and the clotting and hemorrhaging were on the right, so there is a possibility that the baby could not be affected at all, but there was a possibility it still could. So I have been put on modified bed rest for the next two weeks where I can not return to work, do household chores, grocery shop, stand on my feet or walk for long periods of time, or lift anything over 5 pounds, and I will start seeing a high risk specialist. So although this will be a long a stressful journey, seeing this little bean still fighting and hanging on makes it all worth it! ❤
