When to have sex without using OPK?

I don’t want to plan sex to conceive and just want to enjoy having sex to conceive, so how often should I have sex during the month? Is every second day the best thing as it means we will have sex during fertile week?

Having sex every other day is still planning it. The month my husband and I got pregnant I had deleted the apps and we had sex maybe 5 times the entire month. They were all randomly spaced, only one time was sort of purposeful when I noticed some EWCM. But we still had fun with it.

It’s hard to have sex to conceive without planning, as there are only six days every cycle where you are fertile. The least amount you could would be every 4 days-that would ensure you hit the window at some point. Most suggest every 2 days if you know when your window is. So it depends on if you just want to truly leave it up to chance or want to up your chances without becoming sex machines. It’s a spectrum. My husband and I use my cycle and body info (OPKs, bbt, cm) and had sex five times last cycle-all in my window. BFN this month, but that’s our plan for this month, too. Having sex every other day for 25 days could get tiring lol

They say every other day for the 5 -6 leading up to ovulation, then on ovulation day or the day after. Good luck guessing ovulation day... try to listen to your bodies symptoms.
