Endometriosis.... maybe

Dee

Hi there. A couple months ago I went to a gynecologist for my super painful periods. I had a transvaginal ultrasound done. Found out I have a follicle on my right ovary that could become cystic and that it’s bit enlarged. If it gets bigger I will have problems. The left ovary they had problems finding, but eventually did. Which let me say that when they were trying to find the left ovary, I thought I was gonna start cussing for how bad it hurt. Anyways, the doc said that everything looked ok with the ultrasound. He said that I probably have endometriosis and that it is localized on my left side. He said we could to a scope to diagnose it for sure, but he didn’t want to do that procedure on me unless we absolutely have too. I have been off birth control for about 2 years. It messed with my depression so much. So I told him I wanted to do pain management. He gave me a prescription for diclofenac potassium. Anyone else take this? It doesn’t help much if I’m already in pain. I also use the livia device and a heating pad. I’m still in terrible pain most days with awful back pains though and it seems that my periods are getting worse as time goes on. Any other ideas for relief? Anyone else in the “this is probably what it is, but not a for sure diagnosis” boat?
