PERIOD FOR 15 DAYS AND COUNTING?!

Question

This is my first period with my IUD. It has been very heavy for 15 days and shows no sign of stopping. I have constant cramps and back pain and have spent so much money on sanitary products. Has anyone had this experience?

That was normal for me plus worse back pain and extreme cramping maybe your next or next cycle will regulate but almost a year in w iud and I still get bad cramps and back pain my last cycle was longer by two days and that was just last months

It’s very normal.  I had the same.  Give it three months and you should see things calm down.  After six months you should see much lighter periods and if you’re lucky they may even stop at some time if you’re on a hormonal IUD.
