Should I be upset?

My boyfriend of 3 years recently went out of town. He has been gone for almost 2 weeks. Should I be upset that he hasn’t called me or even asked to see a picture of me NOR has he said he missed me. He would text me but that’s all. I asked to call and FaceTime him and he said no because he didn’t want too. It kinda hurt my feelings. 
He didn’t work for the past 2 weeks so I know that isn’t an excuse.
I just feel like he doesn’t care and doesn’t want to see me. I told him that it hurts my feelings but he said that he doesn’t like FaceTiming or calling. 
What should I do and am I stupid for being upset?

I know alot of people say be worried, however my bf did the same thing to me. He went on this work trip for a week and the only time he called is when he was drunk and we had a big fight. We worked it out. He told me he was hanging with his friend after work and just wasn't thinking. So maybe he is just being a guy idiot. I would wait until he gets back into town before getting too upset.

What exactly is he doing if he’s not there for work? And not calling you? For 2 weeks? The women he is in a long term 3 yr relationship with? Yeah, something doesn’t add up. Unless he’s in the CIA or working for top secret private security or Batman and can’t tell you... 🤷🏻‍♀️
