When do you stop using a baby monitor?

I’m just curious is there a certain age you felt you no longer needed it ? My son is 16-months and I don’t know if that’s too young to stop using it ..?

Our daughter will be 12 months tomorrow and I have zero plans to stop using it any time soon. Our daughter will probably be 3 or 4 when we stop using one. I can't always hear her when she wakes and I want to be able to see that she's in her bed where she's supposed to be and not falling out of her crib, crawling out of bed, getting into things in her room, etc.

I would say when there potty trained at night unless they get into stuff then never until they stop and know to go back to bed when they potty

I have no idea when we’ll stop using it - but my son is 15mths and I can’t always hear him when he cries - plus being able to see him I can see if he needs me in there or if he’ll resettle on his own. He wakes up if we go in there physically to check so it’s just easier

He is about to be a month old and we haven’t used it yet. We plan to use it once he’s in his own room, but he’s still with us!

I can hear my daughter from anywhere in the house (one story home). So I don’t really feel like I Need it, but I still use it most days - but only during the period where she is asleep and I’m still up. Once I go to bed, I turn it off. She just turned one.

My son’s room is across the upstairs from our bedroom, so we’re still using it, and he’s almost 3. His baby sister is sleeping in our room, but once she transitions into a crib in a different room then we’ll use it for her.
