I’m one of those people who in a blue moon looks at their horoscope if it shows up on my FB feed or something. I 100% do not believe in any of it I just think it’s interesting and fun to read, kinda like a fortune cookie. However, we had a girl apply for a leasing position where I worked. I was asking her just generic questions before she was to go in to be interviewed and flipping through her resume. She was young probably 19-22ish. I asked her how she felt about working as team to reach a mutual goal and she said “well as an Aries I do things my own way and don’t need help from others” and I casually laughed because I thought she was kidding. Nope. Brought up her astrological sign a couple more times when she was with my boss (I can hear everything from my desk) and I had a very hard time keeping my composure until she left. We told her we would call her once we finished with the other interviews and she said “again, I’m an Aries. So if I don’t hear from you by tomorrow morning I’ll be calling myself because I have a strong personality”. She left and I went in the break room and giggled to myself for a minute. I’ve met people who believed they were only going to be matched with people who had signs compatible with theirs and thought it was kinda quirky or strange but to each their own. This recent experience was just so bizarre to me and I was curious what others thought of Astrology! I’m not bashing anybody who believes in astrology but I didn’t know some people believed SO strongly in it the way she did.
