Hemorrhoidectomy in 3rd trimester

I had a hemorrhoidectomy at 31/32 weeks pregnant. It’s only been a few days post-op but is it normal to be bleeding from the vagina with a milky/clear substance? I am wearing those discreet always underwear since I’m still bleeding from my rectum (very mild) and at first I thought maybe the blood trickled to the front. But now I don’t know. I’m not bleeding excessively so both my gyn and the post-op surgeon says it’s okay to wait until my follow up appointment to come in, which is not for another week. Any thoughts?
