I'm having an extremely difficult time finding a midwife via Google search. I know this is like a shot in the dark question, but is anyone on here from Southern WV like Beckley or Princeton, or the Covington, VA, Roanoke, VA, Pearisburg, VA, Bluefield, VA areas and found a midwife who will do a home birth or has a birthing place that is not like a hospital environment? I'm willing to travel up to 2 hours, and they must be willing to travel. I'm just saying that because I am in Southern WV and everyone I'm finding is over 3 hours away, and that's too far. To be honest, Roanoke is even a little too far but if that's the only option, then I'll go with it. Insurance and money aren't problems, just lack of midwives in the area. We just need to find a midwife in or out of state and then we will figure out insurance and stuff from there.
