Cervix checks?!?!

I start my cervix checks very soon. Do they hurt like everyone says?!

Uncomfortable and they give no indication of impending labour and increase the chance of infection. They're pretty pointless as a routine thing.

I get my cervix checked every two weeks and they are uncomfortable but they do not hurt at all.. maybe it's a pain threshold thing but they don't bother me at all.. They definitely aren't my favorite 😂 but they aren't bad at all.. good luck! I was nervous to get mine checked until I realized what a breeze the checks were 😊

I just had my first and I didn't think it was any worse than a normal pelvic exam

I only had them during labor and they didn’t hurt me at all 🤷🏼‍♀️ I depends on your pain threshold.

I was worried about it too! They didn't hurt me at all!! I heard it just depends on the doctor. However I started having  contractions after I got checked

Only time mine ever hurt was when a midwife checked me in the hospital during labor. It was horrible
