Swollen vag after sex?

idk if this is too much info, sorry if it is, but my vagina is swollen and itchy. i had sex with my boyfriend 2 nights ago and when i woke up yesterday morning my vagina was swollen. as i went through the day it itched and bothered me. I took ibuprofen because it’s an anti-inflammatory and i was hoping it would bring the swelling down. my vagina is a little less swollen today than it was yesterday but the swelling is still there for sure. i tried a cold compress and all it did was make the itching go away for a few minutes. i dont understannd why it would be so irritated after sex because i felt no pain during. i know irritation can happen if there wasn’t enough lubrication but i was wet (sorrryyy) and it didnt hurt. this itching is so annoying and i don’t know how to make it go away. i would rather not going to a doctor unless i absolutely have to. i was hoping there’s other home remedy’s to this before asking for help from a professional. should i just wait it out or is there something else i could try? my boyfriend is blaming himself and i really don’t feel like it’s his fault. it seems logical that the sex caused it but i wasnt in pain. help please.
