Miscarriage Question

Asalam alaykum... I posted this in another group for Muslimahs on here as well.

I just miscarried two days ago and I'm having a problem finding out if my bleeding is considered nafis or irregular bleeding. 😟 My miscarriage was at 49 days so the baby wasn't formed.

I've read that many scholars say this is considered irregular bleeding and prayer can continue as long as I make wudu each prayer. However one sister who teaches fiq told me that if my symptoms are similar to the ones I have for my period then I must stop prayer and fasting and all things related to menstrual cycles until the bleeding has stopped.

Can anyone help?
