In our small town area (as with most other places) there is a serious lack of child care, especially for infants.

I’m wondering when you started looking for/contacting child care options.

Right when you found out you were expecting? Waited a few weeks?

*Update* thanks for all the advice! I’m still really really early (4 weeks), but I started making some calls today. There are only two daycares in our town of 400. My first choice is full, but we just confirmed our spot at our second choice!

Both are wonderful providers, one is just someone I personally know. But my cousin’s kids go to our second choice and I’m so happy she had an opening.
