Okay, so a little background info. I grew up with family from both my mom and my dad even though my dad wasn't really in the picture. The past few years i haven't really hung around my dads family because i have completely different views and morals and we can't talk about a lot without offending each other honestly 🤷🏻‍♀️. But my moms side is completely different, we all hang all the time you know all that. My boyfriend got me a gorgeous ring for my 18th birthday but i was in a wrist brace

So my brother graduated and he lived with my uncle (dads brother). so we all went up there for his graduation. So more info on the ring. it is my size but my wrist brace kinda pushed all my fingers together and honestly there was the tiniest amount of swelling. My ring only fit on my wedding finger! so obviously i was wearing it there and the people i'm usually around know the deal. Welll my dads family didn't. we all got together and mind you this is the first time they are meeting my boyfriend (of almost 18 months). my aunt noticed the ring on my wedding finger. FLIPPED OUT. my dad and my entire family (including my half brother, not the one who graduated) were YELLING right outside when the graduation ceremony just ended. everyone was staring 🤦🏻‍♀️. it took me like 5 damn minutes to get my uncles to stop interrogating my boyfriend. they were asking if i was pregnant and if he had a job and just going off. it was the funniest experience of my life because they didn't really meet my man until after the ceremony seeing as we got there (me and my man) and it almost immediately started. it was probably the most hilarious thing i could imagine while my boyfriend is first meeting my family.
