High risk, severe contraction pain!

I have had contractions since 28 weeks and been in and out of the hospital and on bed rest since then. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes 3 weeks ago and the past two days I have had high glucose readings. 

A couple days ago I started having bad pain under my right rib cage. I called the doctor this morning and went in for an NST. I was contracting pretty hard and they sent me to L&D. I was on the monitor for an hour contracting, painfully, regularly. My blood work and ultrasound of my liver and gallbladder came back normal so I was sent home. Since being home the contractions have only gotten worse in my back to the point I am in tears! I called my doctor and she seemed more irritated than anything and said if I was in that much pain to go back to L&D. 

I'm just not ready to go back for hours with no explanation! Thoughts?
