Anyone else getting the Makena?

I had my last baby at 26 weeks, I had a really hard time finding a doctor since I'm high risk thank God I found my doctor I have now.

I'm 18 weeks, didn't find out hat fad along I was until i was 16 weeks because nobody wanted to see me. She told me I would have to come back ONCE A WEEK to get a Makena shot to keep my baby's in (hopefully) until 37 weeks.

When I went into labor they gave me magnesium through an Iv and a steroid shot in my butt to help the baby develope more and let me tell you those doctors had to hold be down after getting the first steroid shot because IT HURT SO BAD! Km not scared of needles at all I don't mind shots at all but this medicine actually burned, it made my Butt sore for like a week.

This Makena shot FEELS EXACTLY LILE A STERIOD. IT HURT! And I have to get it every.week.

Definitely not looking forward to next weeks shot 😔
