My 36 weeker!

So after being diagnosed at 34 weeks with cholestasis when I informed my dr of itchy hands and feet he said I would be scheduled to induce on Sunday June 10th (37 weeks). That scared me because I wasn’t supposed to start my maternity leave til the 23rd of June so it was crunch time. After a week or so I started feeling lots of crampy pains while working .. I work 10 hr shifts at a warehouse, on Thursday May 31st I woke up feeling what I thought was Braxton Hicks and got up anyways to go to work. Once I got there they started getting more and more intense, people could see my discomfort and kept telling me I needed to leave and go to the hospital.. I’m still thinking it’s false labor pains or something because I was only 35w+4. Eventually I decided it was time to go when I looked at the toilet paper and saw some brownish watery discharge. I called my boyfriend to pick me up because I had a dr appointment later in the day and didn’t want to drive all the way home and back. He came and got me and we ended up going home and taking a nap until my dr appointment a few hours later. We go and they check my cervix and say “Well you’re 4 cm with a bulging water bag” so they quickly admitted me. At this point I’m freaking out because we had NOTHING set up for the baby! My new last day would’ve been Saturday the 2nd and we were going to work on putting everything together over the weekend and didn’t even have my diaper bag packed! So they take me to labor and delivery and start monitoring my contractions and end up giving me 2 steroid shots within the 2 days I stayed. After 14 hours of back labor pains they stopped my contractions since I was no longer dilating. They end up discharging me Saturday night and tell me if anything happens to come back immediately. This was a relief because we immediately went home and set up everything and packed 3 hospital bags lol. Next morning I woke up and my water ruptured. I stood up and was leaking all over the place! We went back to the hospital around noon and they checked again and said I was at 5 cm and 80% effaced. Contractions started shortly after. After about 6 hours I was begging for the epidural and without checking me they gave it to me (most uncomfortable part). I was shaking alll over and once they finished they checked my cervix and said I was 9 1/2 cm and almost ready to push! I cried like a baby and said Noooo lol. Pushed for 45 minutes and baby Mateo was born at 7:45 pm Sunday June 3rd. Originally due July 1st. He was a big baby for being preterm! 20 1/2 inches and 7.14 pounds of perfection!!
