PCOS????

Question

I went to my Gyno last week because my husband and I have been TTC for about 6 months. I found out I have ovarian cysts. I'm freaked out to say the least, has anyone else been through this??? What is the likelyhood of getting pregnant when they're removed?? Do they come back? Do pre seeds work to get my cycle back on track? I haven't had my period regularly in probably 4 months.

My mom has PCOS and has 6 kids from 9 pregnancies. It's possible. She didn't have any help conceiving any of us either. Keep your head up.

Don't freak out first of all. I found out earlier this year and I tore myself apart for monthes. I wanted to break of my engagement because I thought I was cheating him out of a family if I couldn't have kids. I felt damaged and ugly like people knew I was damaged goods. I cried when he slept because I felt bad about myself and him for being with me. I let the cysts drive me in to a roller coaster ride. I just recently settled myself in to a good place about pcos. Whatever you do don't Internet search this all at once. You will break down completly. I changed my diet and everything.

I am currently on my way to fixing my condition.  They didn't have to put my on metrformin because I didn't have a problem. But I do have cysys. They stay there in the ovaries. Cysts are caused by eggs not going down the tube. That's probably y your not getting pregnant.  My doctor told me I could take a pill to ovulate more. I would try tracking your basal temp and asking how to get pregnant.

Just keep your head up high and always keep in mind you are beautiful no matter what your ovaries look like.🌹

They didn't surgically remove mine but keep prescribing meds to get me to cycle and to get them to go away.

I found out a few months that I have PCOS. My OB started me on metformin and said to give it 6 months. Granted I havent had a period since April and every test has been negative :(  I'm hoping that this will straighten everything out and come December they will put me on other meds so my hubby and I can have baby #2 in 2016! My 7 year old keeps talking about a baby brother or sister!

I e had them since I was 16. I have three kids, ttc#4. I did have to have 4 surgeries though to have them and endometriosis removed. They were quick-in-and-out day surgeries with literally one or two day recovery. I was pregnant each time almost immediately after the surgeries. No worries! Just hang in there and think positive. 😊

I have had pcos since I was 16. They never removed any grin me. One actually popped and went away. I only get my period 2 or 3 times a year and is very heavy when I do. I have 2 boys already one without help but 2nd needs meds to ovulate now trying for number 3 going back on meds. Pcos didn't mean your  damaged goods. Just takes alittle more work to start a family
