Ive heard a lot of girls saying they got a blood test to find out their babies genders, what test is this?

You can do Sneak Peek at home, it costs about $80. Or you can do NIPT at your doctors office. The standard NIPT should cover the gender test. My insurance fully covers it for all pregnancies over 10 weeks.

I believe it is called the Harmony and can be added in if you choose to do the NIPT testing. We have chose to not do either form of testing, but my main reason for not doing the early testing for gender is because it wasn’t going to be covered by our insurance. We would have had to pay over $500 out of pocket just to find the gender out a few weeks early. I’m anxious,  but there is so much I can do for the nursery with that money! Lol

I did a NIPT called Panorama- it tests the baby’s DNA to check for any genetic abnormalities. But you also get gender from it as well!
