Sleeping Whenever I Can at 6 weeks 6 days
You guys are going to love this (hehe). So I go to bed last night fully exhausted and fully nauseous with a side of heartburn. I’ve now been rating my nausea because sometimes I just feel like I have a sour stomach and sometimes I feel like I’m going to projectile vomit. This morning I had hopes to wake up at 9 because I go into work at 1 and I wanted to finish up the laundry that I can’t even seem to complete. I kept gloriously hitting snooze until 10:30!!! I haven’t slept that much since I was a teen! So I’m thinking to myself throughout the day “this is great! I’ll have loads of energy tonight and my stomach doesn’t even feel too bad! Maybe I’ll be able to spend more time without nauseously moaning tonight! False. I go to work and get more tired by the hour (I’m an Esthetician, not even a waitress or someone who is on their feet constantly). I take a shower and am in bed by 8:15 pm with nausea that once was a 3/10 but jumped to a 7/10. I woke up at 11:45 pm after making my wonderful boyfriend go to the store to pick me up some more ginger ale, soup and crackers. I brushed my teeth, went downstairs for the ginger ale and to fill up my water and then took my butt back upstairs. Forget laundry, forget watching The Handmaids Tale on Hulu with my BF as he rubs my head, forget eating dinner bc of nausea. I really think the only plus side to the first trimester is still looking more or less like “yourself.” Everything else sucks! Lol
