I have for sure and he has as well. Once things cool down we will always sit and apologize and explain we didn’t mean it .. when your angry you want to win soooo bad you tend to say what ever .

I have many times. Usually I am careful with my words but occasionally slip and realize, either immediately or much later, I didn't mean it. I find the best thing to do is apologize. Not just an "I'm sorry" really quick. Explain yourself to whomever. "I'm sorry I said (whatever it was) while I was heated. I was feeling (hurt, angry, etc) and took it out on you, which you didn't deserve. I was trying to say (what I realized I should've said)." You may have to deal with some snide remarks during this. Just deal with it, you hurt their feelings too. But definitely be willing to reopen the topic a bit, try to remain humble and make sure you are headed in the right direction. Ask if you can move forward and, even if they're still upset, it's likely they'll forgive you.

I haven’t. Even if I’m extremely pissed off I still think about what I’m going to say before I do. If I think that I might say something I’ll regret then I walk away to cool down.
I have said some fucked up stuff before, to my sister. But it was 100% true and I have no regrets about it.
