Almost flaked on my first date with my now BF😂

Funny story about my boyfriend and I. Flash back to about 11 months ago i was single and decided to download tinder on a fluke. I wasn't having ANY luck at all. Randomly I matched with my now boyfriend and we talked a little here and there. I found out he was stationed in Az while I lived in San diego, Ca so i pretty much wrote it off. We snapchatted a little but mainly just dumb snaps with the dancing hotdog filter😂 One day i was out with my bestfriend and I got a message that he was driving out to SD and really wanted to meet. The drive was normal for him because him and his friends would do it all the time on the weekends because there was nothing to do where they were. I wasn't really in the mood to go out but he had already started driving so i decided to just go to be nice. Little did I know I'd be writing this post almost a year later in our apt while he is snoring next to me😂😂😂 We ended up getting dinner and then walking the local pier and stood on that pier and people watched for about 2 hours! My feet got so numb lol He was such a gentleman on our first date and had he hooked! He ended up driving back home at like 2am cause we were out so late haha mind you its a 3 hour drive... Ever since that date he would drive to me every weekend (gas for his truck was insane! he never complained tho!) and we would spend it together. He finally got out of the military a few months ago and we are happy and livong together! Its just crazy to think back that i literally almost flaked on him! I am curious if anyone has any similar stories! Also proud to be a tinder success couple😂😂
