What is this?? It’s all over but worse on his back. Even on his face

We just went through Roseola too.  Rash is just easing up now.  Must be something about this age.  🤒.

Sad baby on a fever day 😪.

Heat rash maybe. My son has a rash on the back of his neck similar.

Did he recently have a fever or diarrhea? My little guy had a low fever for a few days with diarrhea and then a few days later a rash like that showed up all over his body. It didn’t seem to bother him. His pediatrician said it was most likely roseola infantum which is common in babies and usually nothing to worry about.

Is/was he taking any antibiotics lately?
My daughter had a similar rash, that got even worse, and it turned out to be an allergic reaction to amoxicillin. 
If he has any other symptoms it could also be a viral rash. 
I would call the doctor if it doesn’t improve..
It’s hard to see them like this, I hope he gets better soon!
