OPK question. could it mean pregmamcy also?

hey Ladies so this may be stupid of me to ask...but I've seen post where women are a few days b4 their period. and they take an ovulation test. and it will come back positive and that is a sign of pregnancy BC the opks can detect hcg too. ...and then they go and take a hot and it is positive. is that true? I am abt 4 days b4 AF and I took a ovulation test just curious. and was wandering if it meant anything besides ovulation. ..hope that made since.
