Period Length ?

(I’m 12 and stupid) 
My first period lasted for 2 days but my second is on it’s 3rd day and still going. I’m not concerned I’m just wondering why??

I think you've got the confirmation that you're fine at this point, but I wanted to add that if you do talk to your doctor, there's no need to be embarrassed or anything. Honestly there's no reason to be embarrassed about your period at all. I had my first period at 14 (high school) and spent so long trying to hide it. Then one day, one of my friends was like "why do we hide it? We all have it, it's not like it's weird or anything," then yelled "IM ON MY PERIOD" and marched off to the bathroom holding a pad in the air. This was in the cafeteria so it's a bit overkill, but you don't need to hide your pads or tampons. Fuck whoever's uncomfortable by them. We are women, and women have periods. End of story. If any boy tries to pick on you, just tell him he'll either have to get over it, become gay, or die alone because women have periods. No girls should try to pick on you, but if they do, just remind them that it's gonna happen to them too at some point.

First of all, ur NOT stupid!! Ur just young & trying to figure things out 😊 
Secondly, the length of ur period flow can vary. Anywhere from 2-7 days is considered normal. Anything 10+ days is generally not normal. That said, since ur young & ur body is still changing a lot, it wouldn’t be THAT concerning if ur flow lasted 10 days at this point. But, if u do ever have any concerns, then definitely talk to ur doctor about it.

I’m 17, and my periods can still sometimes be irregular! My first period only lasted a couple of days, but then my second lasted seven. It’s confusing, and it does take a while for them to become more regular. But mine have now! However, it’s completely normal to have a few less or more days of your period from month to month.

awweh Hun, you're not stupid. Your body is still just figuring itself out and that's a sometimes confusing thing.
Periods vary month to month, and woman to woman. 4-7 days is the average, but any number of days can be considered normal. Keeping track of how long and how often you have them will help you sort of understand it better.
