8 week visit … No Heartbeat and a week wait

I’m conceived using IUI with my doctor. My last period was 4/7 and the IUI was preformed on 4/18 making us 8 weeks and 5 days. We went to the doctor for our first visit. Baby looked small (was consistent with 6 weeks and 3 days about 6mm) yolk sac looked big and there was an absence of the heartbeat. My doctor is preparing for the worst… the medical termination of my pregnancy but has us schedule to “check” one more time to ease our concerns. We go back Monday and I simply cannot hold it together...praying for a miracle!
