I went to public school all my life and it was okay till I got to high school. My high school didn’t prepare me at all for college and they didn’t have a lot of funding. I want my kids to go to a very good public school or a diverse private school. But I think it depends on the city

I went to a small public high school in a small ass mountain town and although the small classes were always nice and I knew everyone at the high school, it sucked. So much drama, the teachers didn’t even try. It is one of the top high school in northern Cali but that meant that they only really cared about the money. They didn’t even really help to teach us anything except what the tests had on them so they could get more money.

Where I live the only option you have is public. All of our public schools are fine. The only i went to is in the top 20 best public high schools in the state and in the top 500 best public high schools in the nation. We have 100% graduation rate and half of my class graduated with Honor diplomas. It’s a small town (not even technically towns we’re actually villages) area. My schools motto was “a tradition of excellence”. All of our classes are college prep or taught at the college level.

I went to public school through kindergarten to high school, and it sucked so bad for me. There was a ton of bullying, and the teachers would yell at you if you ask questions, so you couldn't really learn anything. I went to private school my senior year and loved it. No bullying and the teachers actually cared about their students doing well, so if I choose to have kids, they will be going to private school.
