Need some help and to talk

Hey everyone. I want to say that I'm sorry for every loss here. I never thought I'd be grieving like this. Saturday will be a week since I miscarried @ 7w 1d.

I went for a sonogram and the doctor said my uterus was empty. I'm still bleeding a week later. It's not bright red anymore, but not old blood either. Still a few very small clots. I'm only wearing a thin pad/pantyliner to catch stray blood but most of the blood appears only when I wipe and pee.

Is this normal?

The doctor prescribed me methergine to shrink my uterus and make sure I'm totally clean but I can't afford to miss work if it gives me horrible cramping. She said I didn't have to take it if I didn't want to.

I think one of the things that sucks about miscarriage is ALL the post miscarriage crap we have to deal with. It's like giving birth to a full term baby without the baby. 😢 😢😢
