How to deal with other people commenting when baby cries?

So today I was traveling with my 1 year old son, and I’m 22 weeks pregnant with #2. It was a 2 hour flight and I was already a bit stressed since my son was very tired and missed his sleep. It was also a bit difficult to carry luggage alone, carry my son, go to security etc. Once I was in the plane my son was very sweet. Playing a bit, sleeping a bit. Until we were landing, then he started screaming very loud. I think he had pain in his ears. A lady in front of us was holding her ears and looking at is the whole time. I was trying to calm down my son, and suddenly she tells me ‘when are you finally going to do something about the fucking screaming?!’. I was flabbergasted and said; are you serious?! I didn’t know how to respond so I just talked to my son, and said something like; some people are really rude..

has this ever happened to you? I felt like crying myself in that moment. Luckily other people around me were trying to help me by distracting my son..
