29 weeks scan and baby’s weight
So I had a level 2 ultrasound last week, the baby measured 2lbs 14oz making him 19th percentile. The geneticist at the place didn’t seem concerned and it actually upped my due date by a few days. When I saw my OB today she said he measured on the “smaller side” but reading it said at 29 weeks most babies are 2.5lbs. He was almost 3lbs at 29 weeks and this is all an “estimate” as well. She wants to send me for another scan in 2 weeks to double check weight and also because he is still breech. She said she won’t be concerned about him turning until 36 weeks and then they will try to manually turn him. That he has a ton of room, but I can feel his bum already wedged super low in my pelvis, so unless he does some kind of forward somersault , I don’t see him turning very soon. Also my placenta is at the top and talking with the ultrasound tech she said he probably hasn’t wanted to turn yet because he wants to be close to the placenta. Both my girls during ultrasounds would turn their face into my placenta, I was told they like doing that because it’s comforting. So my question is has anyone had a scan at 29 weeks and known the size of the baby?
